Unforced, organic, joyous time spent
Feeling full or unfulfilled
Broken hearts will lament

The sides within argue in vain
Today I find peace despite all this pain

The waged within fights for the same cause
As if I realize I'm not sure at all

Gracious for connections made
Love seals a bond in which time has paid 

Past loss means I will preserve, 
a happiness in which I reserve 
Love that is gained built on love once lost
Means the gratitude within comes at what cost?

Since life is fleeting, I have no time to waste
